As a personal trainer I create a programme around you and what you want from your training. This can be a mixture of cardio, strength training, and mobility or it could be something really specific like technique checking.

Whatever it is we can work together to make it the best programme to give you the best results. Things can change as you progress, you may want to add in some new elements as you go on, that’s fine, it’s your program, it’s my job to keep you on track, support you through your journey and help you achieve your goals.

I love to help people understand what to do, how to do it and what to expect as an outcome. This way you have the knowledge to continue building your own programmes in the future if you want to. Otherwise I’m always here to help.

Mobility

Everyone can benefit from improving their mobility and it’s importance in everyday life through to improving sports performance. It can Help in injury prevention, improve technical performance in the gym, enhance recovery, and support everyday functions like bending and lifting.

I specialize in swimming mobility and improving a swimmers ability through range of motion and learning how muscles work together to produce power.

Strength and Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is for everyone, I aim to really understand my clients needs in order to suggest the correct training in order to improve performance and prevent injury.

Core training

With years of understanding of core development I love to help people understand what core training is and how to put together simple programs that can be done in the gym or at home to improve core strength for many reasons including rehab, sport specific improvements, general posture improvement, and strength in everyday functionality.

Program design

Program design is really personal and with an understanding of what you want to achieve I can develop an individualized plan to help you reach your fitness goals efficiently and safely.

Technique checking

I have many clients who already use the gym and have a training plan who just want to check their technique.

I’m a strong believer that technique is the most important thing to get the most out of an exercise. Therefore having individual sessions to just check and develop the correct technique can be really useful.
