I am one of the personal trainers at Just Gym in Saffron Walden providing 1-1 and 1-2 personal training to clients who range from those just starting out and learning about the gym and exercise, people who want to improve their fitness or lose weight, to athletes who want specific training for their sport.

The gym has loads of space with plenty of equipment organised into areas. There are two dumbbell racks plus several sets of small dumbbells and kettlebells. Several weights stacks with pulleys and three squat racks inside. When the weather’s good there’s also two areas outside at either side of the gym both of which have additional racks and bars - great for workouts outdoors in the fresh air.

With Saffron Seals swimming club just down the road I’m the strength & conditioning coach for the swimmers and offer sessions for strength, mobility and improving specific aspects of strokes for specialists. I’ve trained several triathletes, specifically on their swimming to improve stroke, strength, speed and stamina from the sprint tri to Iron Man.

My sport is swimming and along with being a coach and teacher at Saffron Walden I have extensive experience in strength & weight training and love to help swimmers to improve from those starting out to the experienced swimmer aiming for Nationals or above. I coach and teach children through to adults of all levels.

I provide all types of training:

  • General Personal Training; learning about equipment and improving general fitness
  • Strength Training; program design, periodisation, planning and coaching
  • Mobility; mobility programs for swimmers and sports specific mobility for all athletes
  • Fitness Training; program design, HIIT sessions, circuit training, resistance training
